How to make a WINTER GARDEN.

For the most house plants (which are tropical) winter starts when temperature dropped below 45F. We can appreciate their tropical beauty now even more.
Lets get full benefit of the green foliage. Scientifically proven that house plants significantly improve ozone, humidity and purity level of the air.

1. Buy extra plastic pots 2 inch bigger existing and reuse old bigger pots for smaller plants:
2. Buy potting soil;
3. Water plants and carefully remove plant, pinch end of the roots 7-10;
4. Replant plants in new soil and water slowly using water aprox. 1/4 of the plant size;
5. Now the most interesting part-creation of the tropical paradise. Arrange ceramic pots by grouping 3-5-7 pots,using different size, level and texture of the plant-tallest in the back, smallest in the front; small iron stands or garden accessories could be used,your favorite summer garden things,small statutes-use your imagination;
color of ceramic,clay or terracotta pots should be similar; accord. to color of the tile, use saucers and extra protection for the tile; put extra light-low hanging small chandelier, lanterns or any garden lights, add small water fountain, comfy chairs for sitting in peace;
6.Location-must be next to the window on East or South Side;
7.Water plants twice a week by slow motion using water 1/4 of plant size, if soil of the plant is still wet,skip day or two; mist foliage daily, keep temperature in this room 60-66F;
8.Buy blooming plants-orchids, bromeliads, hydrangea,amaryllis, hyacinths periodically,
constant updating will bring extra life to your garden.
